the first nations people
The first nations people are the aboriginal inhabitants of Canada. In the Pacific Northwest, totem poles are often the most commonly displayed remembrance of their heritage. The University of British Columbia Museum of Anthropology has some excellent examples of their work on display, including this great mask.
